# Composition Instead of Infrastructure Assembly **FN-007 · Issue 001 · 2026-09-15 · By JMPKit** > Let the agent compose the result from nearby pieces instead of rebuilding the machinery around them. ## The situation A capable agent can often assemble hosting, databases, realtime services, credentials, provider projects, environment configuration, and deployment pipelines. That does not make the repeated assembly free. Each boundary adds state, failure modes, security decisions, billing surfaces, and maintenance. The issue is not that traditional providers are incapable. It is that their machinery becomes part of every small result even when the person only wanted the result. ## JMPKit's response JMPKit keeps common web capabilities together and equally near: publishing, state, queues, dynamic routes, realtime communication, relay, notifications, discovery, domains, and bounded computation. They use direct, inspectable web contracts and share the app's identity and authority context. The platform should remain flat. An agent ought to reach from the app to the needed capability without navigating deep product hierarchies or creating a new administrative world for each piece. Composition does not mean every app should use every resource. The benefit is that the relevant piece is available when needed and interoperates without a new provisioning project. ## Guidance for an agent - Select only the resources required by the user's outcome. - Reuse the app's returned host and authority; do not invent parallel projects. - Prefer direct current contracts over unnecessary SDK dependencies. - Keep app-level architecture legible enough for another agent to inspect and maintain. - Move to specialized external infrastructure when the app has genuinely outgrown the simpler shape. ## Related reading - [HTTP Semantics, RFC 9110](https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc9110.html) - [Model Context Protocol architecture and composability](https://modelcontextprotocol.io/specification/2025-06-18/architecture) - [Pragmatic Wins](pragmatic-wins.md)
